Comments Thread For: Khan: Me Against Pacquiao, What a Storyline it Makes!

Now that Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank are willing to work together, Amir Khan is open to the idea of facing his former stablemate, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. For years the two boxers trained side by side and held numerous sparring sessions at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, with Freddie Roach as their mutual trainer. Khan eventually left the Wild Card when he dropped Roach and hired veteran coach Virgil Hunter.

Gotta respect Khan. He's going after the big dogs. Willing to fight Floyd or Manny, you gotta appreciate that. With that being said....Manny makes him do the newborn bambi dance once more :\

This is the fight I most want to see for Pac, then a close 2nd Maidana.

No one is talking about this as a possibility though.

Roach doesn't want it after seeing the changes in Khan from the Collazo fight. I believe with his new temperance, Khan can stay focused and outbox Pac all night. If he still traded the way he has in the past, it would probably be a shrt night for him

Of course, Khan want big paydays !

If Khans gonna get beat up why not get paid big for it. Why lose to the Dannys, petersons, and Alexanders. At leat he'll be fighting for his pension.

Why should anyone get credit for calling out Pacquiao or Mayweather? They're P4P fighters and offer massive paydays. And if you lose, big deal. You lost to a P4P fighter and got a HUGE payday.

Now, if he was calling out Porter, Guerrero, Thurman, Maidana (rematch) then you can give him credit.

I think this would be a very good fight and dangerous for both boxers as they are both very fast with good power.
