Robert Guerrero’s gutsy 12-round win over Yoshihiro Kamegai in their June 21 welterweight bout headlined what turned out to be an unbelievable night of action at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The bout aired live on SHOWTIME as the closing leg of a televised tripleheader, with the overall broadcast producing an average of 533,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Not really. It's Showtime and the Al Haymon magic.

Provodnikov vs an unknown peaked at 1.1M.

In what world are those ratings "respectable"? Half the audience for an HBO fight. Showtime has way more than half the subscribers of HBO. They have had awful ratings all year (Garcia-Herrera is the only one semi-respectable.)

I think the numbers are respectable considering that none of the fighters on the card are popular. It's also a Showtime card. They usually get lower ratings than a comparable HBO card.

It was an exciting card though. The Stubhub arena's legend grows.

Id imagine that's pretty poor for a card well over $3 million.

I dont think those numbers are good. Guerrero fought mayweather that should raise his profile. Look at canelo hes a PPV fighter after losing to mayweather.
