  • Comments Thread For: Guerrero: Kamegai Was A lot Tougher Than Berto

StubHub Center, Carson, California - Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (32-2-1, 18 KOs) has a high level of respect for Yoshihiro Kamegai (24-2-1, 21 KOs), of Sapporo, Japan. On Saturday night, Guerrero went to war with Kamegai for twelve rounds to win a unanimous decision.

Guerrero's left eye was practically swollen shut and he was cut above the swelling on his eyelid. He says Kamegai was one of the toughest fighters that he ever faced, and considers him to be a much tougher foe than former champion Andre Berto. Guerrero won a twelve round war with Berto in 2012.

If cold war promotions is legit I'd like to see a Guerrero vs Rios slugfest if Rios can W Chaves cause Chaves is no punk.
