Yup, I remember Jason Pagara was being hyped up a bit a few years back in the Phils. He was knocking dudes out with some sick looking hooks. Anyway the Mexicans said they would come for the KO or get KO'd in the process, that they just wanted to entertain, and I think they will. Most of these events are showcasing the up and coming or unestablished Filipino contenders/champions. Just like Mexicans tend to drag obscure Filipino opponents to place them on their Box Azteca undercards or main events, ALA pulls obscure Mexicans to do the same for most Pinoy Power events. From time to time the bring forth some really good cards like last month's Donnie Nietes vs Moises Fuentes title fight for the Ring Magazine lineal belt as well. They also used to have some sick events like Island Assault where they had Viloria vs El Pingo Miranda and Viloria vs then a highly rated/regarded PFP(at the time) Gio Segura that ended in a horrific stoppage. Anyway sometimes the opponents they bring are live dogs and their intentions to display backfire but at the end of the day whether the names are known or not, they are always entertaining events/cards.
