You get points for effective aggression. Russell was never effective at any point in the fight. All of the clean work was done by Lomachenko.

If that was true, Russell wouldn't have won a single round. And honestly, for Loma, it should've resembled more of a shut out, stoppage, or near stoppage. But he seemed too content to coast when he didn't need to.

Actually pretty sure both Corrales and Vinny Paz both landed less than 10 punches/round against Mayweather and RJJ respectively. Although those fights did not go all 12 rounds.
