Highly ranked by most of the major sanctioning bodies, Monaghan is eager to face three of the current beltholders - WBA 'regular' champion Juergen Braehmer, IBF/WBA champion Bernard Hopkins, or even WBC champion Adonis Stevenson.

Braehmer, Stevenson and Hopkins recently defended their titles and have no upcoming dates scheduled. WBO champion Sergey Kovalev already has a set return date on August 2nd against Blake Caparello.
