Comments Thread For: Fury: I Want Deontay Wilder, For The Title, at Old Trafford

Tyson Fury has called for a future fight with Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31KOs) - if Wilder beats WBC champion Bermane Stiverne, with the fight likely to happen in November. Fury must do his part and beat Dereck Chisora in their rematch on July 26th in Manchester. Fury would love to lure Wilder to the UK and fight him before a record crowd at Old Trafford.

Let's see how Deontay handles BWARE firstly. If he knocks out the Haitian, Wilder will make a serious statement.

Why is his nickname not Beware? Is BWARE is an acronym or something?

Anyways if Deontay beats Stiverne I'd support this. Fury and Wilder will sell the fight in their press conferences. I'd love to hear Wilder yelling "BOMB SQUAAAAAAAD" after laying fury out in the middle of Old Trafford with the Alabama Slamma

Lately I've changed my mind on the WBC situation. At first I was all for Wladimir buying his way into a fight with Stiverne (though I wouldn't have liked him to bypass Pulev), but now I'd prefer him to keep his distance until the Stiverne-Wilder-Fury trio have finished their business by possibly mid-2015. Then he can swoop down with all his belts and try to unify.

Reason being, I really want to see Wilder-Fury before either of them fight Wladimir. I LOVE that fight. The trash talk will be off the scale!

I think Wilder-Fury is THE fight to make at HW. Two huge, undefeated HWs with shaky chins.

Wilder and Fury would help to market the fight, and they could advertise it as a US vs. UK fight.

No way that sells out old Trafford, they're struggling to sell 20.000 at the manny arena, so not a chance.

Gotta add the winner of the Jennings Perez heavyweight scrap to the mix also - so we have Fury / Chisora / Stiverne / wilder / jennings / perez and a couple of otjer dark gorsws out there - i like how the landscape is unfolding...

Once wilder hits fury its over. Fury has no chin and its proven. Where as wilders chin aint been touched. Fury isnt a big puncher either.
