World contenders McJoe Arroyo and Hernan “Tyson” Marquez were face to face today at the official weigh-in for their International Boxing Federation (IBF) super flyweight (115 pounds) elimination bout to be held this Saturday, June 14, at the Arena Jorge Cuesy in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, in a Promociones Zanfer presentation, in association with PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP).
Arroyo (14-0, 7 KOs) and Marquez (37-4, 26 KOs) will fight for the second place in the IBF ranking at 115 pounds. Arroyo is ranked #10 and Marquez is ranked #9 by the IBF in the super flyweight division. The world title is vacant right now.
