Promoter Frank Warren has made an offer to the manager of WBA World Bantamweight Champion Jamie McDonnell to fight newly crowned IBF Champion Paul Butler.
The Ellesmere Port ace won the title on Saturday night in Newcastle, outpointing Stuart Hall to claim the title in only his second fight in the bantamweight division.
Undefeated Butler, who's army of fans outnumbered the defending champion Stuey Halls by 4-1, has now targeted Doncaster's McDonnell in what would be a domestic blockbuster.
