During their widely cheered face-off at the Theater of Madison Square Garden in their ten round rematch for the North American Boxing Federation featherweight title “Marvelous” Marvin Sonsona told former WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr “now its my time.”
Sonsona lost by a 4th round knockout to Vazquez in Puerto Rico in a super bantamweight title fight on February 27, 2010 when he got careless and got caught with a body shot on the ropes but this time around his manager Dr. Rajan Yraola told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard in an overseas telephone conversation that Marvin is “excited but not overconfident” of winning.
