Comments Thread For: Jeff Fenech: Green-Mundine II is an Injustice To Boxing!

Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech is disgusted with recent reports of a rematch being reportedly negotiated for a rematch between Anthony Mundine (46-6, 27KOs) and Danny Green (33-5, 28KOs). Mundine was destroyed by Joshua Clottey in April, and Green has not fought in 18 months, when he defeated Shane Cameron for the IBO cruiserweight title. Mundine won a decision over Mundine in 2005.

Obviously, every mundine fight is a disgrace and green isn't much better. But who can really blame these guys, they know how much $ they can make off this fight cos they know Aussie fans are ****** enough to eat it up. It's frustrating but it's the way it goes.

He does have a point with Danny currently being a cruiserweight while Mundine got blitzed by a welterweight in his last fight but **** it if both fighters want it then there is nothing we can do.
