Comments Thread For: Bermane Stiverne-Deontay Wilder Looms For November

WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs) is looking to defend his world title against mandatory challenger Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31KOs) on a date in November, according to Stiverne's manager Camille Estephan.

There were discussions to face IBO/WBA/WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko in a unification showdown, but Estephan told RDS that Klitschko's side was pretty firm on fighting in September and Stiverne was not looking to return until late October or November.

This will be Wilder's first test, not that fake knockout against his buddy Scott.

Hopefully Wilder takes hs 32nd touch up bout before then. That's a lot of time off.

And ya, hopefully Stiverne loses so we don't have a part time HW champ.

Don King has no pull in boxing. If he doesnt throw Stiverne in there then he'll get stripped. Cause the WBC ordered this fight.
