Heavyweights Alexander Povetkin (26-1, 18KOs) and Manuel Charr (26-1, 15KOs) went face to face at the official weigh-in for Friday's fight, where they will collide for the vacant WBC International heavyweight title at Luzhniki in Moscow, Russia. Povetkin, a former WBA 'regular' champion, weighed in at 102 kilograms [224.8-pounds] and Charr was 112.2 kilograms [247.3-pounds]. Also on the card is 2008 Olympic gold medal winner Rakhim Chakhkiev (18-1, 14 KOs), who faces Santander Silgado (25-1, 20KOs) in a cruiserweight clash.

Charr really 'brought it' against Vitali (at times he was hitting the champ at will), so by rights he shouldn't perform any less well than he did back then. Also, considering the amount of times Povetkin has struggled at the top level (against Chagaev, Huck and Wladimir), Charr should take this.
