Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: This is The Biggest Post-War British Fight

IBF/WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch is only days away from his anticipated rematch with domestic rival George Groves, which takes place before a massive crowd of 80,000 fans at Wembley. This is the biggest fight of Froch's career and one of the biggest fights in British boxing history. Froch drew 20,000 fans for last year's rematch victory over Mikkel Kessler and he can't even imagine what it's going to be like to fight before a massive audience that is four times bigger.

This is indeed almost unbelievable. A lot of casual fans I believe are ticket holders, but the atmosphere should still be electrifying. The British always make for a good crowd.

If he says it it, i wont argue, whatever he means by the biggest? But in a way its kind of not, as its a case of Groves, who has he beat almost hes not Frochs equal.
Benn and Eubank, or Watson and Eubank if were talking recent memory may be bigger depending how you judge, because at least they were both world champions.

Groves has made it big because of the grudge and controversy of first fight.

So many anti-Groves people. He has conducted himself very well I think. And he's only 26. People are underrating this guys skills. He's a real future legend.

It's been almost 20 years since the last boxing riot I can remember,Bowe vs Golota, this will surely have a post fight riot as the main event.

Froch is too slow, He gets blasted out this time since the "Saint' has gained strength and worked with Paddy for a full camp. Speed kills
