For a man who has had as much success as Sergio Martínez over the past few years, one would think he has nothing to prove following a stellar reign as middleweight champion. The Argentine is unbeaten since he lost a close decision to Paul Williams in December, 2009. Nevertheless, following his last bout back in his homeland in April 2013, a fight some consider he lost, Martínez may feel extra motivation for his June 7 meeting with three division world champion, Miguel Cotto.

lol i have a friend from PR and he told me Cotto was an Ahole also, smh i think he loses this fight, serg will wear him down hes too big. the only thing is those injuries and hes looked bad of late and cotto looked good in his last fight, this makes it interesting!

I think Sergio is actually trying to tell his self he is 100% healthy and can beat Cotto. The fact of mater is he doesn't know how healthy he is and he has no Idea that type of fighter Cotto is because he has never faced anyone like this.

The electric environment is going to shock Sergio, the moment will make him fight just like he did in Argentina.
