    Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs), the middleweight champion of the World Boxing Association, was ordered to start negotiations for his next mandatory fight with Jarrod Fletcher. Fletcher (18-1, 10KOs), ranking second in the division, is the highest ranked available contender to face Golovkin. The negotiations period will consist of 30 days, starting on May 13. If no agreement is reached, or neither side is willing to negotiate during this time, the fight will be sent to a purse bid.

      If Gennady Golovkin and his team wish to call the shots in choosing his next opponent, they now have roughly 30 days to do so.

      The unbeaten middleweight knockout artist has been ordered by the World Boxing Association (WBA) - whose title he has held for nearly four years and has successfully defended 10 times - to begin negotiations with Australia's Jarrod Fletcher, who is next in line for a mandatory title fight. The fight was ordered by the WBA as of May 13, giving 30 days from that point to work out terms for a title fight.

      Should the two sides fail to reach an agreement, a purse bid hearing will be ordered in mid-June. [Click Here To Read More]

                  Because this fight was ordered I'm gonna give him a pass but.... I'm sick of the GGG hype this guy gets overly praised for knocking out journey men at least fight somebody with a name before we label you the next big thing seriously who he beat!

                                      According to box rec this guy was knocked out less than 2 years ago.I don't understand WBA's ranking system,their has to be someone out their that is better.
