  • Comments Thread For: WBC: Stiverne Must Face Wilder Next, Not Klitschko

According to the President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne must faces his mandatory challenger, Deontay Wilder - and not WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko, who wants to face Stiverne next for all the titles.

However, if a deal is reached between Wilder and Klitschko's team, where Wilder is paid money to step aside, then Sulaiman would endorse a Stiverne-Klitschko

Id rather wilder get first crack. either way its still 2 very good fights. pulev isnt going to be a walk in the park for wlad. hes big strong and durable so he should be able to at least hang in there and wlads stamina may not be what it used to be as hes getting up there in age now. so glad were finally starting to get some descent matchups for a change

I actually like this fight. At least we know Stiverne has a ****ing pulse

Edit: didn't Wilder ask for like 10 million dollars to step aside?

                    BOOM! Goes the dynamite.

So much for that voluntary defense.
