EU light heavyweight champion Erik Skoglund (20-0, 11KOs) will defend the title against Stefano Abatangelo (18-3-1, 6KOs) but when and where is to be announced in the near future. A purse bid was scheduled for Thursday in Rome but the parties came to an agreement and the fight will be staged by Team Sauerland. Abatangelo went twelve rounds with WBA 'regular champion Juergen Braehmer last August.
