I was never sold on Trout as some world beater he was made out to be. He beat Cotto; that's his claim to fame. That's it. Trout isn't going to beat another world class opponent like Cotto and if Cotto and Trout do fight again I favor Cotto in the rematch.

Not to mention Trout gave Canelo 99 problems and on top of that open scoring ruined the fight.

If Canelo gets by Lara with no controversy then I'll take him seriously; but barely beating Trout getting shut out by Floyd and beating up WW Lopez doesn't do it for me.

Not even close to Chavez. From the end of 87-90 he fought 13 times and beat Edwin Rosario, Jose Luis Ramirez, Roger Mayweather and Meldrick Taylor.
