Maybe now throw like you're scared of the counter?

Not to mention Trout gave Canelo 99 problems and on top of that open scoring ruined the fight.

If Canelo gets by Lara with no controversy then I'll take him seriously; but barely beating Trout getting shut out by Floyd and beating up WW Lopez doesn't do it for me.
World beater or not he beat cotto and gave Canelo a real close fight, I think I had it a draw.

But it's still better than most of what JCC faced in his first 40 odd fights.

Trout, Mayweather, Angulo, Lara. That's 4 fights in 2 years. An ATG, a mid-level contender, an unranked contender (but a tough SOB) and a top 3 contender.

Not even close to Chavez. From the end of 87-90 he fought 13 times and beat Edwin Rosario, Jose Luis Ramirez, Roger Mayweather and Meldrick Taylor.

Mayweather is better than them all but I wouldn't take Lara, Angulo and Trout over Rosario, Ramirez, Uncle Rog. and Meldrick Taylor.

Also how bad did Lara look against Hernandez even? Dreadful dreadful fight.
We'll let's see he boxed P Willys ears off and got robbed. Who looks good against Molina? He has one of the ugliest styles to watch and stinks up the joint every time he fights. He broke Angulos face and made him quit (meanwhile Angulo didn't comply to the rehydration clause) and won every single round against Trout and made him do the Bambi dance as well.

The question here should be; why the Canelo hype?

Lara didn't just look bad, he probably lost the Molina fight.
A boxer with Lara's hype shouldn't be dropped and going life and death with Angulo. He isn't Pernell Whitaker as much as people on here wish he was.

Williams was actually slated to fight Canelo but he had his horrible injury. Don't forget, Kirkland backed out of a Canelo fight as well because he thought he was worth more than he was.

Paul Williams coming off the most devastating loss in is career being KTFO senseless by Martinez?

Lara is the most overrated fighter on here, can't wait until he gets destroyed.
