Floyd wins 117-112 the gloves were used as a distraction and it worked. Maidana needs smarter people around him for the big fights, he should have had all the gloves that were ok'd by the commissioners office in his possession.
That way whatever the "Champ" wanted was ok, just get in the ring and lets go.
Why people are saying that Maidana is a big puncher is just BS! He hit Broner flush and Broner got up, he caught Floyd a few times and didn't hurt him. The "puncher" crap was promo stop buying into promo BS!!!
