Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: If Recent Khan Shows Up, Collazo Stops Him

Paulie Malignaggi is a longtime friend of fellow Brooklyn native Luis Collazo and has fought Amir Khan.

The former two-division champion’s extreme familiarity with the strengths and weaknesses of both boxers is among the reasons the Showtime Championship Boxing analyst is so eager to watch Collazo and England’s Khan square off in a 12-round welterweight fight Saturday night on the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Marcos Maidana undercard at MGM Grand in Las Vegas ($74.95; Showtime Pay-Per-View; 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT).

go falsely accuse another boxer who beat guys you couldnt beat with steroid use.

so glad pacquiao's sparring partner put this guy in his place.

a fringe contender who became more than he really is because of his verbal diarrhea.

he's overrated in everything he does boxing and commentating especially.

Khan looked horrible against Julio Diaz and was lucky to win. If that version of Khan shows up there's no way he beats Collazo. I expect Khan to put on a much better performance. Still don't think it will be enough to win.
