Comments Thread For: Damien Hooper: I Want The Best The UK Has To Offer

2012 Olympic light heavyweight Damien Hooper is already set for his next ring appearance, which comes on July 30 in his native Australia. The unbeaten prospect already has his sights set on the future, though - one that involves revisiting his past, as he longs for a fight in England.

Motivated by countryman Lucas Browne's recent knockout win in the UK and a struggle to find quality competition, Hooper is now motivated to travel abroad.

Why is it a shame? UK fighters often go to the US to better themselves. The quantity and quality of fighters is superior in the UK compared to Australia, mainly due to us having 3 times the population. Besides, plenty of Aussies come over here to play rugby, etc. I'm sure he'll love it, apart from the weather. Onwards and upwards.
