    BoxingScene.com has been advised that super middleweight contender Gilberto Ramirez (28-0) will likely return on the undercard to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Gennady Golovkin - if that fight gets finalized for July 19th at The Forum in Inglewood, CA.

    Ramirez last fought on April 12th when he stopped Giovanni Lorenzo in 5 rounds. Hector Zapari who manages Ramirez along with his father Jesus, said that an opponent has yet to be determined.

    They said they'd get it done by last week.... but I guess since they're already talking about setting up undercard, it must be coming soon

      Isn't Ramirez with Canelo Promotions? That's a big kid. He could be a future star if he continues to develop.

        I thought he was splitting it with Zanfer and TR. He's been on like 2 TR shows with Lorenzo and Mouton

              I've seen him several times live, a lot of potential & he'll grow 2 a LH...what he needs is genuine competition, not like the target practice he had w/Lorenzo...a year from now he & Jr will b a good MX show...
