Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer would love to bring back John Molina (27-4, 22KOs) to one of his events. On Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, Molina waged war with Argentina puncher Lucas Matthysse for eleven high paced rounds. The war, which many view as a frontrunner for Fight of The Year, saw Matthysse get dropped in rounds two and five, before coming back to drop Molina three times for an eleven round TKO win.

Why not Herrera vs Matthysse? I see what GB is doing... They don't want Matthysse & Garcia having common opponents cause they don't wanna put pressure on a rematch.

I like the fight, both those guys deserve some shine for their gutsy performances. I hope they get a good pay check too. Those are blue collar fighters out there.

Idk if you or anyone noticed but when Sam Watson came over to congratulate Matthysse he asked Sam Watson for the Garcia fight. You could see it in Matthysse's face that he wants it.

Herrera deserves better. Let him and Lucas fight if Danny doesn't want to give him a rematch. Which is quite lame IMO. You can't rematch everyone but u gotta rematch a guy that really beat u but didn't get the decision.

Not really. John is too slow to catch Herrera and too dangerous for Herrera to get careless. Stinker.. John doesn't work enough, and Herrera is a spoiler.

Danny Garcia has an unwritten "no rematch" clause for all fights. Then he runs to twitter talking ****. That's the **** we don't like. There's nothing "swift" about that.
