Comments Thread For: Baldomir Promises No More After Loss To Meryasev

Former welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir (49-16-6, 15KOs), 42-years-old, has decided to call it a day and says he will never fight again after losing to middleweight prospect Andrey Meryasev (16-0, 11KOs) over ten rounds in Yucatan, Mexico. It was Baldomir's first fight since getting stopped in four rounds by Marco Antonio Rubio in September 2012, which also took place in Mexico. [Click Here To Read More]

Honestly,BALDOMIR has received more than what he deserved in boxing;if you think he was the WBC 147 champion when FLOYD wanted that title you understand what i mean, they gave him also the chance to be WBC 154 champion vs Vernon Forrest, anyway he has a good victory over JUDAH and GATTI,his carreer is incredible and his determination was inhuman. I hope he saved the money.
