    Las Vegas, Nevada - Luis Sandoval catches up with WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was hitting away at the heavy bag as he prepares for his upcoming unification with WBA champion Marcos Maidana. The fight is taking place on May 3rd from the MGM Grand. Showtime Pay-Per-View will televise the contest. Maidana is coming off the biggest victory of his career, a December twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Adrien Broner, who happens to be close friends with Mayweather.

            When you stay in shape, you can focus more on being sharp in the ring the way Floyd does. How Floyd trains seems to really be based on being sharp, fluid, well conditioned and accurate.

            Someone like Arreola has to spend 50% or more of his camp trying to keep his weight down.

              May be just me but I've never heard floyd grunt before when hitting the bag, sounds like he's exerting a lot of power into his shots.. Sign to come??

                  How heavy is that bag? I've heard it was 140 but not sure.
