Same. I remember calling 30 bars for the pac v. cotto fight and only 1 was showing it. It was a great experience, but the cover was like 25 bucks; might as well have stayed home and watched it with friends.

I haven't gone to a theater yet, but if its in HD I might be willing to go. But like you said, the experience seems underwhelming.

I can't even imagine watching a canelo weigh-in on the big screen, that might be x-rated.

theater is best place to watch assuming you aren't an alcohol addict

only downside is they only show important fighters in theaters

What a shame. I was in arizona for spring training while the Garcia v Herrera was going to happen. I called alot of sports bars in order to find out if they were going to have the fight. No one had it eventhough it wasn't pay per view. The only time bars/sports grills show fights in my town is when a mexican fights pacquiao or mayweather.

How much is a ppv for theatre? Same as regular movie or more expensive?

F#@& that is expensive especially if you watch with friends and family. I thought it would be like $10 bucks a person lol.

I saw Canelo/Angulo at the theater but not again, a bar is a more enjoyable environment for me.

I can see it now, they would call it "The Leonard Ellerbe Experience. So close, you can smell it."
