The second significant victory for Roody Pierre-Paul (9-1-0). He defeated Baha Laham (12-2-2) at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau on March 28 at the 7th Gala of the Fight Club series. He captured the WBC Continental Americas lightweight crown with a unanimous decision. The scores were 97-91, 97-91 and 96-92. In November 2013, Paul lost a controversial decision in Cincinnati (Ohio ) to Brandon Bennett. The USNBC belt was then at stake.
