Italian Domenico Spada (38-4, 19KOs) is very eager to arrive in Mexico to fight Marco Antonio Rubio (58-6-1, 50KOs) for the WBC middleweight interim title on April 5, in Chihuahua, Mexico. "Vulcano" stressed that he’s ready for the fight, knowing the fans will be rooting for Rubio on his turf.

This is actually a big fight for Rubio. Winning an interim belt could give him some credibility. Wouldn't be surprised if he takes on the loser of Cotto/Martinez if of course either fighter decides to continue fighting.

Spada is the question. If he gets by Rubio, we might have sometbing.

Why the loser? He wants the winner

Spada lost twice to Zbik (the first questionable). He's not beating Rubio in Mexico. He is being brought in to lose

I'm with you. Since when is calling out the loser a big deal? One guy keeps calling out Angulo. What's wrong? Scared of Canelo? Oops, off subject. If Spada lost to Zbick? he was probably outboxed. No worries about that with Rubio. Strength might make a difference and Spada might even be the better boxer. How does he travel?
