So while that aforementioned wisdom says that the unbeaten - but unknown and untested - Chicago native is going to end up on WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev’s highlight reel this Saturday in Atlantic City, Agnew brings a quiet confidence into the biggest fight of his life, along with a simple solution to hearing daily about the growing legend of the “Krusher.”

“I just don’t pay attention to it,” he said quietly, the usual mode of conversation from the 27-year-old. That’s probably the best way to be for a fight like this. Stay below the radar, be stealthy, and strike when it’s time to do so. And no one has done it better than Agnew.

A former amateur star, Agnew turned pro in 2007, slowly and steadily building his record and reputation like countless other hungry fighters. I've seen footage of him training and also seen some fights. He's way over matched and how this fight could be sanctioned is actually beyond my comprehension. Kovalev should be ashamed he's facing such an opponent and his promoter should try selling tomatoes instead of fights. This is a rubbish fight.

I think its better than Stevenson vs. Fonfara.
Agnew is a good talent. And hes a humble and nice guy.

Agnew's best win was against a Yusef Mack that's reeling badly, Fonfara was against Campillo who's also declining, but has way more left than Mack.

Agnew is not tested by any means but is no slouch. He fights out of a solid defensive stance and keeps his hands up often, does not look to get hit alot. Fights southpaw, he has decent speed in his hands and he has some pop, but yes he is virtually untested. Still I don't think this is a lamb being sent to a slaughter. He might make more of a fight out of this than you all think. Will probably lose but he may give a good showing, dont expect it to be a complete demolition. Also them ChIraq kids aint no punks! Hopefully he's one of the tough ones to make it off the streets and not a softie.
