Comments Thread For: Marquez: Bradley Must Box, Not Trade With Pacquiao

Mexican superstar Juan Manuel Marquez could see Timothy Bradley defeating Manny Pacquiao on April 12 - if Bradley refuses to trade punches.

Marquez fought Pacquiao four times. They fought to draw in 2004, with Pacquiao winning close decisions in 2008 and 2011. And then Marquez knocked him out cold in the sixth round of their fourth meeting in 2012.

box with what? bradley only has those mosquito jabs and and some footwork. he can prolong his execution if stays on the outside since it has no effect on pacquiao whatsoever.

Marquez probably prefers a bradley victory cause that's the rematch he rather fight. Win or lose against Pacquiao it will be hell. Win or lose against Bradley he won't get hurt much.

Maroid: Lord please let Bradley win because I don't want to fight Pacquiao. Without my Hulk Juice I'll never be able to beat PAC.

JMM may be bitter but he is 100% correct. You win fights the best way you can, you don't go out and try and prove something and risk losing. I would think Tim learned this in the Provo fight.

Marquez, Bradley and the People's Champion are all legends in my book. People over estimate the talent that Goldenboy has at welterweight. They have many many average or above average welterweights. Top Rank has 3 Kings.

                Not much else besides though.

Why would Marquez be hoping for Bradley to beat Marquez?

Bradley is just going to make Marquez lead and box him to another win
