Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola's Drive Rises With Homefield Advantage

Looks like the rematch between heavyweight contenders Bermane Stiverne and Chris Arreola will take place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, CA.

The Galen Center is located on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC).

The rematch is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 10th and will be televised live on ESPN, not on ESPN2, where the “Friday Night Fights” telecasts are normally shown. [Click Here To Read More]

If Arreola can't win on his home turf in Southern California then he may as well retire. He needs to go for broke because this is his last chance to make his name relevant in the heavyweight division.

He had home field advantage last time at the citizens buisness bank arena,i just hope he trains hard and comes in at a better weight, cuz stiverne is very robotic and i would love to see areolla move a bit this time,he has thevadvantage in speed and power, either way though i hope its a good fight and we could crown the first mexican heavyweight in boxing history..!!

Arreola was in great shape for Mitchell. Hopefully he'll come in just as lean for the Stiverne rematch, given whats on the line...

I like Arreola. I respect that everytime he steps into the ring the dude comes to fight.
But he reminds me of a Heavy Weight version of Rios. Aside from the fact they're both brawlers with no defense what so ever, they're both fat and lazy and fat and lazy people don't last long in this sport.

Cris has never won a boxing match where he saw his own blood. He's kind of a mouse. And stiverne.. Its still hard to forgive him for the god-aweful performance against Austin a couple years ago. That coupled with his activity rate. Dude never fights

Arreola just needs to come in shape. If he does that he wins the fight. Stiverne wasn't impressive in the last fight, having had Arreola hurt as badly as he did.

Neither of them threw many punches, and when Arreola actually threw punches, he was winning those exchanges.

Just come in shape fat boy and you win...

Seriously doubt there is much drive behind *******. I had good laugh when Chris told Teddy Atlas on last week's FNF's that he was dedicated and was running 2 1/2 miles a day.
