    Former junior welterweight champion Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) feels confident that his move to the welterweight division will generate an explosion of power and strength. Talks are ongoing for Khan to make his welterweight debut in the co-featured spot on the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana undercard on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The opponent being discussed is former welterweight champion Luis Collazo.

    I'm an Amir Kham fan. BUT I'm starting to cringe every time I hear this guys name.

      yes, you might be stronger, but so will be your opponents.

        if anything, it only make it more likely he'll get KTFO. as you move up in weight, you LOSE power. Look at Mayweather during his 130lbs days. He was a good puncher, but now, at 147/154, he's KO'ing no one.

          So now apparently Collazo is this devastating puncher according to NSB. Ortiz's history has shown why he didnt get up from that right hook.

          Collazo is a world class fighter and a former world champion, but Khan is gonna easily dismantle him on May 3rd.

                I've watched this fight already. Collazo knocked out Amir Khan and I'm gonna have some money on it.

                  collazo ko'ing khan shuts khan up for life, no sht talking from khan ever ever again. nd it takes him out of the mayweather sweepstakes which he doesnt deserve. i hope collazo comes into the fight thinking that if he ko's khan he'll get a chance w mayweather, which he wont, but itll be a good motivation for the ko
