Comments Thread For: Fury The Betting Favorite To Defeat Chisora Again

Sky Bet make Tyson Fury the odds-on favorite to beat old foe Dereck Chisora when the pair meet for a second time in July.

Unbeaten Fury scored a points victory in their first bout in London in 2011 and he's 1/2 [-200] to beat him in Manchester's Phones4U Arena, with Chisora given odds of 13/8 [+162.5] to win.

Not a surprise. He's undefeated and he holds a win over him already.

I expect Fury to win the fight much more convincingly this time.

Del Boy vs. Gipsy Boy 2
Chisora was out of shape and not motivated in their first encounter. Reason is he was close to a fight against Wlad but then things turned out different, Wlad fought another guy and Del Boy was pissed and frustrated. This time it will be different, Chisora wins either by KO or by decision. Even Cunningham knocked Fury down. Fury is a joke. He almost got flattened by his last journeyman-opponent. Chisora will put tons of pressure on Fury, something that Fury has never dealed with before. Gipsy-Boy will absolutely get FLATTENED.

Decent odds for Chisora. I'd have it close to 50/50 maybe a slight 55/45 edge to Fury.

Makes sense, Fury won relatively easily the first time round.

People like to bring up Chisora being out of shape, but so was fury. Chisora will be in better shape.... and so will fury.

Also at least chisora had the iron chin back then, since Haye blasted him he's been rocked by non punchers, even scott had him on ***** street.

All very true. Although Scott never had Chisora on ***** street, I don't know where you got that from.

However, when we analyze the fight, look at how Chisora repeatedly rocked Fury in the 2nd and 3rd round or thereabouts. And just didn't have the energy to finish him off.

Now, if he'd been in better shape he might have been able to do it.

That being said, I want Fury to win as I believe he has a better chance of beating Wlad, which is what it comes down to really.
