Light heavyweight gun Sergey Ekimov (9-0, 3 KOs) eked out a workmanlike unanimous decision over eight against tough Welsh journeyman Nathan King (13-22, 1 KO). The fight was quite even but Ekimov was slightly better in every round. Boxingscene had it 78-74 - for the Russian.

Impressive KO for Drozd! He will probably get a title shot this year.

He's now trained by Pedro Diaz. I've seen videos of him training in beast mode.

It was a combination ending with a beautiful hard right that sent Ouanna down for the full count.

Good solid hook, but neither guy is world class from what I saw in that fight. Whatever title Drozd holds at the moment will belong to someone else soon. He has awkward footwork and can't slip a single punch.
