It may or it may not. Even when losing, the winner may have gotten his ass whooped most of the fight and for one of those weird things the judges go with the other guy or even winning thanks to a great punch landed that ended up in KO in spite of having lost all previous rounds. We've seen both many times.
In the case of Floyd, he's not known for giving ass whoopings, but wining through better technique, more about avoiding getting hit while landing his own shots, which may not be that powerful so as to seriously hurt the other guy, but still clealry win the fight. In some other cases yes, you have a boxer getting his ass kicked the entire fight like we saw in Maidana vs Broner.

Maidana is a strong lion he had a good 2013 and is a world champion,khan is 2-2 in his last 4 fights. let khan fight broner on my undercard and if he wins I'll enter him into the mayweather sweepstakes. I ain't ducking or dodging no fighter but maidana is who I'm focused on and come may 3rd Imma do all I can to get the victory.
