London - Hennessy Sports are proud to announce an exciting, brand new competition to put on the boxing calendar, the MaxiNutrition Knockout, live on Channel 5.

Starting on March 15 at Rivermead, Reading, eight boxers from the light heavyweight division will fight it out over four live events to become the MaxiNutrition Knockout champion and in doing so the British champion.

The eight fighters competing are Bob Ajisafe, Dean Francis, Danny McIntosh, Travis ****inson, Matty Clarkson, Leon Senior, Lee Duncan and Tony Hill.

Nice! Good domestic level boxing on terrestrial TV.

I really like what channel 5 are doing with regular boxing shows and now adding the upcoming UK UFC card to its schedule. Hopefully we get more of these tourneys, the budget wouldn't be there but imagine the possibilities with a middleweight or welterweight one
