Comments Thread For: Erik Morales Injures Hand, Jorge Paez Fight in Doubt

According to sources in Mexico, former four division world champion Erik Morales may possibly have to postpone his return, due to a suspected hand injury. Morales is scheduled to fight on March 22 against Jorge Paez Jr. in a ten round welterweight at the the Arena Monterrey.

Before Morales announces a possible postponement or cancellation, he wants the hand to get examined by a doctor. However, there are already rumors floating around that Paez may now face now Breidiss Prescott if Morales withdraws.

Yes, Erik should have retired for good 8 or 9 years ago. I never understood why Angel Garcia thought that his son beat Morales at his peak.

Haha. Get over it dude, Garcia cracked his jaw after he gave Maidana a run for his money. Add to that, Garcia being green in comparison to Morales experience. It's a solid win. You have to be in denial to think Garcia would have no chance against ANY version of Morales if Danny fought at that weight.

Just for that, Imma go watch Danny crack his steroid using jaw and laugh my ass off.
