Comments Thread For: Diaz Backs Bradley's Confidence of Beating Mayweather

When Timothy Bradley tells trainer Joel Diaz he’ll become the fighter to finally defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr., if he ever gets the chance, Diaz feel as though he has no choice but to believe Bradley.

Diaz learned long ago, like a lot of others have found out more recently, that doubting Bradley isn’t wise.

People need to understand it was Bradley's trainer(Joel Diaz) quoting Bradley. Bradley has enough versatility and foot speed to reach mayweather. He has fought many styles in his boxing career both amateur and professional. Experience is there. I don't think he can beat mayweather but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Bradley knows how to smother and cut the ring off very well. Bradley could outwork him, mayweather isn't throwing with high volume and takes breaks every now and then focusing strictly on defense.

That's funny because Bradley doesn't believe in himself. He said himself Floyd may be unbeatable.

If Canelo got a draw on one card then I'm pretty sure Bradley can get the decision they seem to be enamored by mega dome.On a side note he never beat Pacquiao,I wonder how Diaz skews that victory into Bradley's favor.

Bradley is such a joke to me. He ran from Amir Khan a few years ago; and Ruslan almost ended his career and he thinks he can beat Mayweather. lol

I don't even think he can beat Ruslan in a rematch, because of the strength and determination of the Russian.

He beat an old and slow JMM; old and slow Casamayor. He is not a good fighter and has been lucky. I would like to see him fight Adrien Broner or Marcos Maidana for starters!!!

Too bad Bradley didn't leave open the option of eventually fighting Mayweather.
