I voted for Wlad. He suffered a few KO defeats but he beat all of the guys that KOed him in rematches except one. Frazier was KOed 3 times and he never was able to beat Foreman. Wlad has spent many years as champion while Frazier was only champion a short time. Frazier was small for a heavyweight at 5ft.11inches and 205 not very lean pounds. Wlad is 6ft.6 inches and 245 lean pounds. Size alone does not make a heavyweight great but size combined with speed, skill and power does.

And I haven't watched the fight but Vazquez won, he was the better fighter... I predicted a fight wrong, what am I supposed to say? Lol. That's irrelevant to this thread anyway
Sorry, I assumed that anyone who believed GGG was top 5 P4P, Vazquez would be "easy work" for Shavikov, and Wlad should be higher in ATG status than Frazier would have to be a countryman

None of those guys are from the same country anyway. Lol.

GGG is from Kazakhstan, Shavikov is Russian and Wlad is Ukrainian.

Honestly, so what? Frazier only lost to Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, 2 of the top 5 heavyweights ever. Of his 32 wins, he beat Chuvalo and Bonavena and Ellis and Quarry and Mathis. Then he beat Ali on top of all that.

And why bring up size and longevity? It's completely irrelevant. I don't care if Wlad was 7'5 and 400 pounds and reigned for 20 years, Frazier has beaten better fighters, including the best heavyweight ever in the biggest fight ever.

Quality over quantity. Wlad's quality isn't as good as Frazier's.

I agree with this and I'm surprised Wladimir has 17 votes, I was expecting zero and I am in no way trying to disrespect the current champ, arguably the greatest heavyweight of the 21st century.

But it's not just Frazier's great win over Ali or his ability to steam roll opponents in his title run but it's the mere fact (often forgotten) that Frazier is superior in almost every other aspect of boxing, better footwork, faster, possibly hit harder, a better chin, better combination puncher and terrific versatility.

I can't think of a single heavyweight post Holmes who, H2H could win against Smokin' Joe, apart from possibly Tyson or Vitali. Guys like Lewis and Wladimir have a chance but their lack of dynamism and chins put them at a major disadvantage and Holyfield would get beaten down the stretch.

Frazier was great, it should never be forgotten.

                  1) Frazier was only knocked out by Foreman. 2) No Wlad didn't. It was Vitali who beat Sanders and Purrity not Wlad. So once again, what is worse? Being knocked out by an ATG heavyweight or being knocked out three times by jouneymen or close to it?

Frazier has more #1 wins than Wlad, a couple of wins over HOFamers and a win over the greatest of all times.

Wlad has ZERO wins over any current or future hall of famers and has been knocked out 3 times only avenging one defeat.
