Mariana Juarez won a ten round unanimous decision over Melissa McMorrow at the Miguel Hidalgo Gym in Puebla, Mexico to retain the International super flyweight championship of the World Boxing Council. 'La Barbie' (39-7-3, 16 KOs) had more trouble than many had expected with McMorrow (9-4-3, 1 KOs), but did enough in the rounds to get the points. The score of 96-94 was listed down on all three official cards.

In the co-feature, the return of hard-hitting Miguel Román scored a two round knockout over Enrique Tinoco.
