He had his shot vs Vanes and could only manage a draw otherwise becoming the no 1 contender. He beat Angulo so Canelo ducks him and fights the best fighter in the planet

Lara looks impressive for the first time against a top fighter against Trout. The guy is coming off his 1st loss, to Canelo nonetheless , and he calls out another guy coming off his first loss yet gets praised while Canelo trying to bounce back gets hammered and called a "duck"for fighting Angulo a bit of hypocrisy there.

The fight will happen he just admitted it that it will go down when it's necessary this whole fast food mentality of "I want it, and I want it now" is ridicolus both guys keep winning and it will happen this year.

I agree completely. Hope you have this same sort of mentality when talks of Kovalev vs Stevenson's situ. A lof of people are reasonable when it's convenient.

I like Angulo and he is the main reason I will watch this fight..Oh and Angulo was not winning the fight up until the swelling...

Big fan of Canelo but getting tired of the low punch count and never really engaging in battles any more. He's got heavy punches but tries to box too much. I want to see more action from him. I like Angulo and he impressed me by kicking Lara's ass and out boxing him. Ya even though he called it quits after morphing into the elephant man. Kirkland whom I use to like also knocked him out. He has a shot though. I have to say he looks ridiculous with them ****** f**king braids. If he comes out looking like an idiot with those ****s I hope he loses.

I'm sure this fight will happen soon. Alvarez needed an exciting match up for his first PPV. Lara wouldn't and can't provide that, because he's such a technical fighter. Once Canelo has momentum, I'm not surprised this fight will eventually happen.

Lara should call out Quillin. That fight in NYC would sell well.
He's not getting his shot at Alvarez until at least 2015. Until then he can fight Quillin and rematch Molina while Alvarez fights Angulo and the Martinez/Cotto winner.
Early 2015 is when I could see the fight happening.

Quillin already said, he would not fight fellow Cubans if it all possible.

Not only did Lara fight thru a serious bump from not a punch but a head butt in which he also beat up Paul Williams and he never quit never complained all while getting robbed! Lara has great accuracy! He kept throwing that straight left in the same spot all night!! That wasn't a freak accident that was well placed repeated punches!! Quillins one jab that cut Rosado would be more if a lucky punch but still it's a punch that created the cut. If you can't tell the difference then pick another sport
