Both camps have officially confirmed that a deal was finalized for the June date, on HBO Pay-Per-View, and taking place at Cotto's second home - New York's Madison Square Garden.

this fight is just a couple of years too late,i just don't see the big deal of whoever wins this one,martinez is older,beat up,has had injuries and cotto well he's not that old but he's getting up there,he's been in fights where he just got beat up badly,i don't consider cotto or Martinez to be in their primes anymore,the younger stronger fighters are quillin and golovkin,i can see why cotto chose Martinez,like I said he's kind of a beat up fighter and it doesn't help he hasn't fought in a very long time either
