The newly appointed president of the World Boxing Council Mauricio Sulaiman has praised his legendary father, the late Don Jose Sulaiman who served as WBC president for 38 years before he passed away last month following critical heart surgery.

In an emotional tribute Mauricio said “thank you my beloved old man. Destiny brought me this opportunity to be the closest son to my Dad regarding boxing.”
