The topic not about cotto losing fair is about him losing period weather is fair or cheat my point is him losing is what got pacman the fight with oscar .. But if he won he would of fought oscar .. do you think he would of beat oscar? And do you think manny would be has big if cotto retired oscar if they did fight n if cotto won? Do you think if oscar beat cotto he would of fought manny later??

Would cotto have beaten like pacman since he was gonna be weight drain no matter who he fought? It is interesting how history would have changed had Cotto won. It's also difficult to see PAC becoming as huge as he has without the Oscar fight. But let's say Cotto had won. Who would he fight after that? He had fought a lot of the WWs who were big at the time. The only people he's missing at that time was Floyd and Pwill. Perhaps he would have moved up to 154 anyways. Who know. It's interesting to think about though.

I've thought about this before. I imagine it would have been at 54 or at least a catch weight. In fighting Pacquiao, Oscar pretty much had to come in that light. Had Cotto beat Oscar, it certainly would have catapulted him to super stardom.

Many interviews around the forbes fight, oscar clearly said he was sick of fighting PR and mexicans and didnt want to do another pr-mex battle

He was looking at hatton, and manny for his final fight

The plan was suppose to be forbes at 150, floyd 2 at 147 in sept, then a farewell in dec vs a smaller guy like manny or hatton....

Cotto would have slaughtered 147 Oscar, and beaten him convincingly at any catchweight that might have happened. Oscar was too far gone to handle prime Cotto.
