Comments Thread For: Haye: If I Recover, I Still Have a Few Good Fights Left

David Haye's shoulder surgery was so severe that three months on he cannot even run, let alone throw a punch, the former world heavyweight champion has revealed.

And Haye admits conflicting medical opinions continue to leave him in the dark on the future of his boxing career.

The 33-year-old underwent a five-hour operation in Germany to repair severely ruptured tendons in his right arm in November.

The Bermondsey-born fighter is refusing to give up on a return to the ring, but said there is no timescale on a potential comeback.

I hope this moron receives a career ending injury in his next fight, the fraud doesn't deserve to come back.

Seriously, i would not take the risk and fight again after that kind of injury. I think Haye is done. He could have archieved way more in his career if he would have fought more often. He was the 3rd best after the Klitschkos. He has beaten Chisora with ease, no one has beaten Chisora as impressive as David Haye did. And Chisora is still a Top10 heavyweight, maybe Top5 now.

His injury is real thats a fact. Hopefully he can and does fight again because love him or hate him he brings drama and excitement to the whole event. Tyson Fury was as close to a sure fire KO win for Haye as it gets! Totally out of line someone torching his car if its just some boxing fan who happens to be a Fury Hater btw.
Haye seems to enjoy the fame more than the fighting so he'd be better off doing a bit of acting here and there and just working the celeb circuit, easy money if ur into that type of ****

I feel like Haye while he has had a good career has sold him self short with lack of activity and obviously Toe Gate which was lame but overblown. Hayemaker, very talented and dangerous guy there. Not sure if history will be kind to Haye though

Fair comment Tobi.G but on Chisora, despite being in better shape these days isn't the same guy, he looks like he cant hold a shot the same post Haye IMO, cant see him beating anybody dangerous now, not even......Fury!

He will be back in late summer and claim a miraculous recovery.
