Comments Thread For: Joel Diaz Expects Figueroa To Blast Out Canelo's Brother

Trainer Joel Diaz is expecting WBC lightweight champion Omar 'Panterita' Figueroa to blast out Ricardo 'Dinamita' Alvarez in five rounds on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The card will be headlined by Ricardo's younger brother, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who faces Alfredo Angulo in the Showtime Pay-Per-View headliner.

Ricardo (23-2-3, 14KOs) has never been stopped and by capturing the title of Figueroa (22-0, 17KOs), Ricardo would become the third brother in his family to win a world title - with Canelo and older brother Rigoberto Alvarez being the other.
