Timothy Bradley’s fight with Ruslan Provodnikov last year did painful things to him physically, but it also did magnificent things for his career.

Their war, which Bradley won by close unanimous decision, has picked up “Fight of the Year” honors from the Boxing Writers Association of America.

Bradley spoke with BoxingScene.com on Jan. 29, talking about whether he’d go back in time to fight the Provodnikov bout any differently if he could, and discussing how that battle both hurt him and benefitted him.

I think match with the right opponent you see Bradley warring again..It's part of his mental make-up..Every time Marquez landed,Tim got up in his face..It's who he is,he's a fighter..Put Bradley in a bad position,he's gonna fight his way out..

I'd love for Tim to fight Ruslan again so I can scoop up some massive points. I swear man, Tim would dance circles around Ruslan in a rematch and make it look easy. Of course, people would just say he was scared and ran the whole night but he would likely win nearly every single round.
