  • Comments Thread For: Tommy Coyle Hopes To Benefit Big From Jamie Moore

Tommy Coyle continues to reap the benefits of his association with Jamie Moore as he prepares to face Daniel Eduardo Brizuela next month.

'Boom Boom' will once again be performing in front of his home fans in Hull on February 22 as he takes another step up the lightweight ladder against the dangerous Argentinian.

Coyle has made huge strides in the past year since Sky Sports pundit and former European champion Moore agreed to train him.

The 24-year-old dominated Derry Mathews before a momentary lapse saw him knocked out in the 10th round, but victory over John Simpson in November has put him back on the map.

Coyle looked good against derry, was out boxing him but got carried away and then ****! Derry got in a heck of a shot.

If Moore can get Coyle's head right and allow him to be more disciplined then I see good things for this kid.

Why do boxers recycle nicks? Not that I aint a Sugar Shane and Sugar Leonard fan, but Sugar Robinson was THE Sugar. Have a slew of King's a couple Dinamitas, a couple Viscious.. Now we've got another Boom Boom. damn boxers are getting lazy or are taking too many shots to the head to be creative anymore
