  • Comments Thread For: Bradley: Pacquiao Will Be Easier Second Time Around

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs) is relishing the opportunity to make things right on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, when he takes on Manny Pacquiao in a rematch of their controversial June 2012 clash. Bradley won the first meeting, with a controversial split decision victory.

Their mutual promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, was so irate over the scoring that he contacted the Nevada State Attorney General to conduct an investigation.

Bradley knows the deal...he will take this victory, he will shut Pac down.

I think we're going to see a highly motivated Pac in this fight. I think he will win clearer than he did the first fight- who knows about the decision though.

He'll really have to show us something he didn't before, because Pacquiao basically shut his offense down last time.

We will see a better Pacquiao for this fight than the first Bradley fight.

We shall see Timmeh. We shall see.

He lost the first 2 minutes and tried to steal the final minute. If Tim closes the distance and lands punches in the final 10 seconds....it's a wrap.

So you'll only break one ankle this time? By then end of the night instead of a wheel chair you'll just need crutches?

Running and missing punches doesn't win rounds. The difference was Pacquiao landing a few clean shots and Bradley landing even fewer. Pacquiao also landed several not so clean shots because of Bradley's head movement and Bradley again landed fewer on Pacquiao. And the one leg excuse? Bradley's mobility looked fine to me. When I think impaired mobility due to injury, I think Foreman against Cotto, Martinez against Murray. Not Bradley against Pacquiao. Whatever Bradley may have done to neutralize Pacquiao's offense, his own was so ineffective that he was still losing rounds.
